Sacred Skiing Logistics
The Full Monte
Conscious contact with the mountain extends to conscious contact with others as well. In the 'Good Old Days' sharing lodging, cooking meals, and skiing together was an integral part of group skiing. The 'Full Monte' Skiing in a Sacred Way workshops offer this experience. All lodging, breakfasts and dinners, morning and evening activities and local transportation is arranged for and managed by the Sacred Skiing staff in consultation with the participants.
TRANSPORTATION
Participants are responsible for transportation to the resort. However, as parking at resort homes and condos is usually limited, I can work with participants who do not want to rent a car to arrange for transportation from the airport to our lodging.
LODGING
Drawing upon my personal experience of working and skiing at the major western resorts for over 35 years I work with you and your private group to locate the lodging that meets your personal and group financial requirements. I locate homes and condominiums in prime slope-side locations and contract with the individual owners for rental. This approach always adds a wonderful personal flavor to our workshop lodgings.
FOOD
Wholesome healthy nutrition is critical for optimal physical performance and energetic experience. I provide organic and locally produced foods and work with participants to plan daily breakfast and dinner. Participants share in meal preparation and clean up. There is, of course, always the option for dining out at local restaurants, but my experience is that participants find that the in house meal preparation is preferable.
LIFT TICKETS
Most ski resorts offer group discounts, discounts for multi day tickets, and advance purchase discounts. I use my knowledge and industry contacts to help you the best rates for the days that we are skiing together on the mountain.
