The end of May found us with a gap in our work schedule and the forecast for A-basin was for freezing temperatures at night so we headed to Dillon, for one last ski session anticipating hard spring snow turning to corn. We arrived at the A-basin parking lot in a snow storm with 6" already on the ground. The weather stayed cloudy and snowing for most of two days and the conditions were more like March. Powder and packed powder conditions prevailed and we had a fantastic time working on our turns and enjoying this reprieve from the long hot snowless summer.
